Output may be generated or influenced by large language models, including when accessed through the public MCP tools detour.overview, detour.search, and detour.routes.discover.

Results returned by Detour, whether through the website or through an AI agent using the MCP interface, are starting points for your own research, not recommendations, endorsements, or professional advice of any kind.
Output can be incomplete
AI-assisted suggestions may be incomplete, outdated, hallucinated, or wrong. Routes, filters, watchouts, and product examples reflect the state of the index at the time of generation and are not verified in real time.

AI agent usage (MCP)
When an AI agent uses Detour's public API tools to answer your questions, that agent is a separate system operated by a third party, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or another provider.
Third-party systems
Detour is not responsible for how an AI agent interprets, filters, presents, or extends Detour's output.
Provider rules apply
The agent's behavior is governed by its own provider's terms and policies, not Detour's.
No warranties and limitation of liability
Detour is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, detour.sh and its operators make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, or reliability of any information returned by the service, whether generated by AI or otherwise.
